Title Race:Brendan Rodgers frustrated as Chelsea 'park two buses' in win at Anfield
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers suggested that Chelsea had 'parked two buses' after seeing his side go down 2-0 to their title rivals at Anfield.
Demba Ba opened the scoring just before the break after Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard had slipped, allowing the striker to latch onto the ball before nutmegging the advancing Simon Mignolet.
Willian then made sure of the win after a pass from fellow substitute Fernando Torres for a breakaway goal in injury time, with the result seeing Liverpool's lead at the top cut to just two points.

David Moyes' future at Manchester United was sealed after a number of senior players turned to Sir Alex Ferguson to demand change, reports the Daily Mail.
The former Everton boss was relieved of his job on Tuesday morning following a dismal 11 months in charge at Old Trafford.
He had been given a six-year contract by Manchester United following Ferguson's recommendation, but officials took the decision to sack him following United's 11th league defeat of the season on Sunday.
By the time Moyes was sacked, almost every significant figure at Manchester United was fed up with him including senior players, directors and major shareholders.
Apparently players were so disgruntled by Moyes' regime that some senior figures turned up at the doorstep of Ferguson' Carrington home to demand change.
Clash of styles
Real Madrid versus Bayern Munich. Possession against counter-attack. It was a classic match-up offering an intriguing contrast in styles. Such affairs can sometimes be one way, such as when Jose Mourinho's Chelsea team not only parked the bus but stubbornly refused to get off it throughout the previous evening's game in the Spanish capital. But there was more than enough purpose and ambition to Real Madrid's breaks in the Bernabeu to ensure excitement.

Amid the Atrocities In Central African Republic
Armed groups of vigilantes called anti-balaka, comprised of
Christians, animists and former troops loyal to the toppled government,
have spent months trying to rid Central African Republic of most of its
Muslims. Many claim they’re exacting revenge against Séléka, the
disbanded coalition of mainly Muslim rebels who staged a coup more than a
year ago and initiated horrific abuses like rape, torture and
random killings, largely against non-Muslims. But their retaliatory
atrocities have amounted to reports of ethnic cleansing and warnings of
religion-fueled murder, destabilizing the land to the darkest period in
its modern history.

INDECISION IN THE TRANSFER MARKET
As Premier League champions, Manchester United remained an attractive proposition to the most talented players across Europe even without the aura and authority of Sir Alex Ferguson.

Too much time was spent trying to entice the likes of Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas and Thiago Alcantara, Everton's Leighton Baines and Athletic Bilbao's Ander Herrera to Old Trafford. There was even talk of a mega money return for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Grand plans: Moyes was full of optimism when he started at United on July 1 but soon found himself up against it in the transfer market.

Champions League Preview: Atletico Madrid Vs Chelsea in first leg of semi-final
Chelsea's pursuit of European glory continues on Tuesday night as they head to Spain for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final against Atletico Madrid.
Jose Mourinho's side narrowly avoided elimination in the last eight as they battled back from a 3-1 first-leg deficit to knock out Paris St Germain on away goals thanks to Demba Ba's late strike at Stamford Bridge a fortnight ago.
The semi-final draw then kept Chelsea away from heavyweights Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, but it will still take a monumental effort to reach next month's showpiece in Lisbon after being pitted against an Atletico side on the brink of winning the Primera Liga.
Chelsea had also hoped to claim domestic and European glory to mark Mourinho's first season back at the helm in style, but their bid to become Premier League champions suffered a seemingly terminal blow at the weekend as they went down 2-1 at home to Sunderland.
